Adam Carver
Adam co-owns Hanson alongside Teresa and has worked in the garage door industry since 2009. His background includes working as an electrician and fiber optic lineman, along with years in professional customer service. This experience shows up as careful workmanship, steady problem solving, and clear communication in the garage. Adam believes in repairing first when it is safe and practical and in explaining why a recommendation is being made. Homeowners appreciate his calm approach and attention to detail. Outside of work, Adam enjoys baking sourdough bread, spending time outdoors, and staying connected with his family.

Teresa Carver
Teresa is the co-owner of Hanson Overhead Garage Door Service and is often the first voice customers hear when they call. Alongside her husband, Adam, she helps guide homeowners through decisions that affect safety, function, and long-term value. Known locally as the "Garage Door Lady", Teresa is the person customers turn to when they want clear answers and thoughtful guidance, not just a price. Teresa raised her family in Sonoma County and brings a strong sense of care and responsibility to every customer relationship. She spends much of her time networking with other professionals in the community, and helps keep Hanson closely connected to the people it serves.
Lead Technician
Matthew Carver
Matthew is a Lead Technician at Hanson and has spent most of his life in Sonoma County. As the son of owners, Adam and Teresa, he grew up alongside the family business and became comfortable around a garage door from an early age. After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Electronic Arts with an emphasis in Narrative Production, Matthew chose to return home and join the Hanson team. His academic training sharpened his ability to observe systems closely, anticipate problems, and communicate clearly. Customers appreciate Matthew’s professionalism, calm demeanor, and respect for their homes.
Technician and Installer
Dylan Terry
Dylan is a trusted technician and installer who has worked with the Hanson team for several years. He is known for his reliability, attention to detail, and respectful presence in customers’ homes. In addition to his work at Hanson, Dylan is continuing his education at Santa Rosa Junior College. He brings the same focus and care to learning that he brings to every installation and repair.

Hanson Overhead Garage Door Service is independently owned and family operated. We are not investor owned, franchise operated, or backed by private equity. There are no outside partners influencing how we price our work or recommend repairs.
Sonoma County is our home, and it is where we raised our family and built this business. We are proud members of the Go Local business community and believe in keeping our work, relationships, and decisions rooted here in the North Bay.
